PA at PMA 2019
Another year, another spectacular PA at PMA in the books!
Every year, team members, distributors, and customers of Produce Alliance gather from all over the country for the annual Produce Marketing Association foodservice conference.
This gives our PA network the perfect opportunity to celebrate and strengthen the valuable partnerships we've built. From insightful field tours to celebratory receptions, #PAatPMA2019 is truly a time for growth, learning, and of course, comradery!
The week's activities officially began on Wednesday, July 24 as the Produce Alliance Next Generation Board met to discuss progress, adaptive strategies, and vital opportunities within the industry.
The next day, the Produce Alliance group traveled to Bolthouse Farms for interactive and informative tours through carrot fields.
But the fun did not stop there!
Our group then gathered bright and early Friday morning to head over to Driscoll's for a berry field and facility excursion. The generous folks at Driscoll's gave our group an inside look into America's finest berry fields and facilities. We taste-tested samples and learned about each berry’s flavor, color, texture, shape, and aroma.
To cap off the week's activities, our attending PA customers and distributors arrived at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa for the annual Produce Alliance PMA Cocktail Reception. We saw a record number of attendees as guests arrived donned in evening attire to enjoy a night of drinks and hors d'oeuvres as the band played in the background.
